Because it is common for the mc's in Weekly Shōnen Sunday to crossdress.

Prove me wrong :/

anyway I got bored today after catching up with the manga and decided to draw Keima in his clothes from his date with Yui.

This looks fantastic. I especially love the umbrella.

GOOD JOB!

Lol I thought it was your self OC for a second. What do you color with by the way? Do you do it on the computer? If so (sorry for the following criticism) you need to work on filling the color in to fit the line art cleanly. The shading is fine, though a little more defining on the eyes and shading on white colored clothing wouldn't hurt. Other than that great job! I really like how you shade the skin.

I kinda saw that after I finished coloring, the settings on my laptop are kinda meh lighting wise. (because I tend to keep everything on power save meaning the screen isn't vert bright)

I used Paint Tool Sai like I always use. I need to work on eyes more, I just hate coloring them seeing as I can never draw them correctly.

I see, bad computer lighting would defiantly make a difference in coloring.

As for the eyes, I used to feel the same way, but turns out they're not that hard. Have the whites in them blend into the white of the rest of the eyes. As for color, that's up to you. I like to use three different shades, lightest the main color, middle fills up half way, and the darkest makes a pupil between two colors. Though it's your style, but there's nothing wrong with referencing. I do it all the time, especially for anatomy (it still takes me forever to get it right, you seem to have that down though, I jelly).

Anatomy is easy, draw a stick figure with circles at the joints. Pose as you see fit and sketch over it. I learned that from a friend of mine in AP art who has a cartoon / comic book style.

the lighting thing never bugged me seeing as no one has said anything about it on some of my other all digital stuff.
